With these three elements in your toolbox, nothing can hold you back from achieving the success you want in your life.
The question is, do you have them in your toolbox or did you leave them at the store?
Vision is simply this:
Where are you going.
What are you going to do.
Who are you going to become.
What are you going to achieve.
Do you know the answers to these questions?
If not then you do not have a vision.
Start today, answer the questions, define your vision.
Many years ago it was simply said, “Man without vision shall perish.”
Do you have vision, if not you need to get one or your dreams too shall perish.
Stop hesitating, stop holding back, stop trying to put your life and dreams into a box that fits what others think. Ask yourself and be honest:
What is it you really want to accomplish?
What is your real vision for your life?
But remember, a real vision has to have two key elements that you just cannot get around.
You have to believe you can do it and you have to commit that you are going to do it.
If I ask the average person out there – “what is your vision” – most times they really don’t have one.
If I ask most business owners the same question, I get the same answer, they don’t have one.
If I ask most business executives the question – I still get a blank stare.
If you want to create success and be part of the top 1%, then you have to start with vision.
Define your vision today and make it part of all you are and all you do.
Second tool:
Goals – these are the things you need to accomplish to make the vision a reality. He who has goals and measures them and monitors them and achieves them, creates success and attains his/her vision. He/she who does not, doesn’t. Plain and simple as 2 +2 = 4. Yet do we get it.
Those goals must also have a plan and be measurable.
If you have a vision, you can build a plan and make it happen.
If you don’t have a vision, you are just pulling your goals out of the air.
Thin air goals are just that, thin air goals.
Get a vision, then you can define real goals.
And finally action.
Action – do what you said you where going to do. Measure the results, modify the process and persist in your work to get there. Let nothing stop you. Watch what happens.
Stop spending your life and work in being reactive to what happens and start being proactive.
Proactive means you have a vision, goals, and you are taking action.
If you don’t know where you are going, if you don’t know how you are going to get there, if you don’t know where you are.
Then you end up like most people, you will never be part of the 1%.
You see the 1% are never reactive, they live a live of being totally proactive.
Commit to this today, stop being reactive and start being proactive.
Define your vision, goals and start moving down the road today.
These three simple processes will take you to a new level in your life. Don’t wait any longer to put it together, put it together today.
Yes, you can.
