First of all, you need to be sure that he is interested in you before you go chasin’ em around town makin’ yourself look like a damn fool.
Now, once you’ve found that boy that you think could be your Huckleberry, use these tips to make him fall head over heels for you:
-Get Dirty: Don’t be afraid to get dirty, and by that I mean “get dirty” not STAY dirty! You need to be able to clean up nice.
-Be Confident: Not conceited, confident! Don’t ask for compliments, you know damn well how pretty you are, or aren’t. Country boys are usually sweet and charming and will complement you regularly, but they are so laid back that they may not realize you are seekin’ compliments, and may think you just have low self-esteem.
-Eat: Country boys like to eat and they like their women to eat to. Don’t pick around at rabbit food and pretend you’re not hungry, eat hearty meals, they surely don’t mind a healthy thick girl. They also like their women to cook, so keep that in mind.
-Take a joke: Loosen up, country boys love agitatin’ their women, it’s pretty much how they flirt. If you can’t take a joke and aren’t easy goin, you probably won’t get along well with a country boy.
-Stay true to your roots: Don’t try to change who you are, if you’re a city girl and he is interested in you, it’s probably because he likes who you are. You can still keep an open mind and try new things but remember to be YOU.
-Be family oriented: Country folks are usually very family oriented. Don’t try to take him away from his family, and don’t stay away from yours, spend time together with family, respect and love his family, when he sees how much they love you, he will feel closer to you.
-Laugh: Don’t be a bore or a party pooper! Have fun, and let him have fun. Don’t ruin good times with a bad attitude. Boring party poopers can quickly suck the life out of a good ole’ country boy. Nobody likes Debbie Downer!
-Give em space: Don’t be clingy! I doubt any guy likes a clingy girl. Give him time to be with the guys without em down or blowin’ up his phone. Just because you like gettin’ dirty, goin’ huntin’, and bein’ “one of the guys” doesn’t mean you tag along every time he goes, his buddies will definitely get sick of it and they WILL let him know!
-Respect his values: Most country boys were raised with good values, Mama teaches em right! They have that “southern charm” when it comes to women. They open doors, tip their hats, and say “ma’am” to all the ladies. You need to respect that he does that for all women and not just you. If he opens doors for other women, he’s being respectful, you aren’t the only woman he should respect. Don’t rob him of his good values because you’re a jealous biotch! His Mama worked hard to teach him right!
-Be down to earth: Your parents may have spoiled your ass rotten but it’s time to tone it down. Country boys are so laid back and any needy, high maintenance drama queens wouldn’t stand a chance with any of the country boys I know.
